I’m sure I’ve posted work by Aaron Huey here before, but I had to mention his work again today after taking another good look at his series, American Portraits. 

Alec Soth on spontaneously finding subjects for a new project for The New York Times Magazine piece, Portraits from a Job-Starved City. Audio interviews accompany each of Soth’s portraits, of individuals from Rockford, Illinois. There’s also a great blog post about the assignment itself.
